At Facet, we prioritize providing a personalized and focused experience for each of our clients. To ensure that every individual receives the attention and care they deserve, we operate primarily on an appointment basis. This approach allows us to dedicate ample time to each piercing or jewelry consultation, ensuring a comfortable and stress-free visit. While we do accommodate walk-ins when possible, our availability for these is limited. We strongly encourage booking an appointment in advance to secure your preferred time and to ensure that we can provide you with the best possible service. Our online booking system is user-friendly and designed to make scheduling your visit simple and convenient. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain a high standard of care for all our clients.
Do’s: 1. Eat Before Your Appointment: Make sure to have a meal or snack before coming in. A full stomach helps maintain your energy and can reduce dizziness or discomfort during the piercing process. 2. Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water before and after your appointment to keep your body hydrated and support the healing process. 3. Bring a Friend (or Two): You’re welcome to bring one or two guests to your appointment for support. They can provide encouragement and help you feel more at ease. 4. Wear Comfortable Clothing: Choose clothes that allow easy access to the area being pierced. For example, wear loose-fitting pants if you’re getting a navel piercing. 5. Arrive on Time: Being punctual ensures that you get the full benefit of your scheduled appointment without feeling rushed. It also helps us stay on schedule for other clients. 6. Follow Aftercare Instructions: After your piercing, carefully follow the aftercare instructions provided by our team. This will promote proper healing and prevent complications. 7. Inform Us of Any Medical Conditions: Let us know if you have any medical conditions or allergies that could affect the piercing process or healing. Your safety and well-being are our top priority. 8. Plan for Aftercare Supplies: Consider purchasing recommended aftercare products before or immediately after your appointment to ensure you have everything you need to care for your new piercing. For your convenience, we also sell all necessary aftercare supplies in the studio. Don’ts: 1. Do Not Use Numbing Creams or Sprays: We advise against applying any numbing products before your appointment. These can interfere with the piercing process and are not recommended by professional piercers. 2. Limit Your Guests: Please do not bring more than two guests with you. Our studio space is designed to be comfortable and accommodating, but we aim to keep the environment calm and focused. 3. Don’t Skip Meals: Avoid coming in on an empty stomach. Skipping meals can lead to faintness or feeling unwell during your piercing. 4. Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine Before Your Appointment: Alcohol and caffeine can thin your blood and increase the risk of bleeding. It’s best to avoid these substances before your piercing. 5. Don’t Touch Your Piercing with Dirty Hands: After getting pierced, avoid touching or fiddling with the new piercing to reduce the risk of irritation. Always wash your hands before any contact. 6. Don’t Remove Jewelry Prematurely: Removing or changing the jewelry too soon can disrupt the healing process. Follow the timeline and advice given by your piercer for any changes. 7. Do Not Bring Pets (Service Animals Allowed): For hygiene and safety reasons, pets are not allowed in the studio. However, we do welcome service animals that are trained to assist individuals with disabilities. Please note that this policy does not extend to emotional support animals, as they do not have the same legal designation and training as service animals. If you have a service animal, we appreciate it if you inform us in advance so we can make necessary accommodations. Following these guidelines will help ensure a smooth and positive experience.
